This is just a note or reflection of what has been happening in the aftermath of the terrorists attacks on America. It seems like everything is being blamed but we have ignored a very important reality. This nation was founded on Godly principles but very early we turned to be a nation of self seekers and sin entered in. Yes we need to pray for this nation. We need to pray that as a nation we would  repent of 46 million aborted babies. We need  to repent for exporting 95% of the pornography to the world. We need to repent  for calling homosexuality an alternate lifestyle and realize that a soul for eternity is at stake. We need to repent for preaching a soft (no commitment Gospel) to a sin hardened and sick world. We need to repent for ignoring  the cries of the needy  and  making merchandise of the poor while heaping treasures to self. God has spoken through His word and  through the signs that are all  around us.

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The Heart of Sho-Phar

Ruby and I want to express our deep love and thanks to all of you who have been so faithful in praying for us. The words faithful fit so many of you out there and this is our way of saying thanks.

I want to take you on a journey inside of the heart of this ministry. Please follow me to the VA hospital in Spokane, Washington. It is June of 1990 the room is quite and the words of the Doctor are still echoing in my ears. Words like cancer, terminal, surgery, and funeral arrangements. These words I had heard in regards to other people but this time it was me. I was the one that was looking at the valley of the shadow of death. I was saved and baptized in 1974 and a call had been put on my life in 1986. I had answered that call by running from God. The material things of the world were more important to me then being obedient. I ran into the church and was serving God working for the Lord but running just the same.

I was reading my bible and praying when the presence of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came into that hospital room. The room was filled with His glory.
