Just a note to say it has been two and a half years since Ruby had her going home celebration and I want to thank you all for kind words and acts of love towards me. My middle daughter Brenda and her husband have provided a home for me and allowed me to enjoy two of our grand sons. While I have gone through six major operations and recoveries. God has been so good and allowed me to continue to serve in what He called me to do. Carl W Sanders Jr Trumpet Ministries PO Box 320 Drasco, AR 72530 870-668-3782
Do you have Time for JESUS? For the past seventeen years we have been sounding a warning to America. We have traveled across the land obeying the call. Trumpeting the need to be prepared in righteousness to walk in a right relationship with Jesus. Refusing to buy into the world system. We sound the trumpet of warning that God’s judgement is at hand for not only this nation but also all the world. Time is running out and the events that we have warned of are even now coming upon us. You and you alone will have to make that decision. We have a great concern and even weep as we pray. Jesus is standing with outstretched arms saying come unto me. Tribulation has been promised in God’s word and salvation by receiving Jesus Christ is your only escape. Please listen to these words deception is all around us but Jesus said “Matthew 24:4 ¶And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” There is a great deception that is sweeping across America. This end time delusion has caused many to turn to man or a system or even one of many religions for an answer. The bible tells us however that we must be holy and focused in Jesus as the only way that you can escape being deceived by Confusion and the deception that is brought about by manology (mans opinion). We are continuing to warn and alert the church as to the requirement for holiness. This is not an option but it is a requirement. This message is another in that direction.
I Am Part Of The
Fellowship His holiness is a requirement not an option. We will look at the thread that bound holy men of old together from Genesis to Revelation this thread held them together and drew them across time towards the greatest event in all of history. We will also look at his presence. It was his presence that could take an ordinary man and turn him into a dedicated man of God. These men who were willing to lay down their lives for the sake of others and take their place in the honor roll of the saints in Hebrews chap 11. I want to share with you that after all this the scripture tells us “Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. “ In the thread and the presence of God both, there was a pointing towards that great event in history that had as it’s beginning the birth of the messiah and has continued until this very day and hour and will continue even past the last day and on into eternity. We sing the song “We have the victory” and you can be assured that we do have that victory. It is not a victory of emotions or religious hype. It is a victory of enduring the cross and the suffering and the pain that precedes that final victory. What did Jesus say “John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” He has overcome the world and so if He is in me and I am in Him then I can overcome the world and you know what? So can you, so now just do it! This might not fit in your packaged theology but it works! And I know it works because I found it in the bible and Jesus said it. In this article we are going to look at a relationship. What was it that caused dedicated fisherman to leave their boats and nets and in one case at least a Shocked and bewildered father standing in the boat (Matthew 4:21 “And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.”) to come and follow a man. This was not just any man but it was in fact God in the flesh that had come as a suffering servant to rescue his creation. God would now write in the heart of man his commandments. The writings in stone would now be placed in the hearts of men, (“Matthew 5:27 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”) this would bring about an intimacy with the creator that was lost in the garden of Eden with the fall of the first Adam and could only be restored with the birth of the second Adam (Jesus Christ). The sole purpose in writing these articles is to encourage you and build your faith. We are not defeated but we have victory in Christ. If you believe this say AMEN you can even shout it if you want to! This victory is not just lip service but is born out of two very important principles that seem to escape us modern day up to date bible believing blood washed selectively sanctified Christians. Lets let a fellow by the name of Paul give us principle #1. Principle#1: Philippians 3:13 ”Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul said “ forgetting those things which are behind, I have underlined behind and forgetting for a very good reason and it is this high maintenance low impact Christians are constantly looking back and remembering the past sins that should have been put under the blood and with repentance should be remembered no more. We have however a fallen angel named the devil that is very good at reminding us of our past. I want to give you a piece of advice if I may. When Satan reminds you of your past just remind him of his future (Isaiah 14:15 “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”) His time is running out and he is well aware of it. Paul also said that he was reaching forth to the things, which are before. We are told not to look back but to press toward that mark for the prize of the high calling of God. Folks that high calling of God is that intimate personal relationship with the Father through his son Jesus Christ. Principle #2 This is not an instant fast food drive thru relationship it only comes about by spending time with the Father. Jesus spent time with his father. Matthew 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. He would not start his public ministry without spending that time. We see time and time again he went to the Father. Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. 40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Jesus spent time in prayer and fasting before he began His public ministry and also during the time of ministry and then we see him spending time in the preparation for the crucifixion the final act that would redeem fallen man. The question that we must ask ourselves then. If it was this important to the Son of God to spend this time and if we claim to be his followers should we not at least spend time with Him? We find ourselves getting into great discussions about how to pray, when to pray, should I be on my knees or maybe standing up? Do I raise my hands or keep them in my pockets? Should my head be covered or uncovered? Do I use one of the sacred names or just groan? (He can interpret the groanings you know) or maybe I should leave one of the letters out of the name (yes I think that will do it). Well do I pray loud or soft? Shout or whisper? Run, walk or crawl? Laugh or weep?. Well there is an answer to these very important questions and it is YES to all of the above. If we are spending time with Him not orchestrated by man and His programs you just might do all of the above or maybe none of the above He may just say shut up and listen. You know you can’t talk and listen at the same time and anyway you should listen twice as much as you talk since you have two ears and only one mouth. I want to give you an example of a man who got his prayers answered big time. Nehemiah 1:4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, Please hear this old watchman and understand these two principles of Holiness.
